The defending champions at the 2021 Roland-Garros Rafael Nadal and Iga Swiatek practised together on Saturday ahead of the event start on Sunday.
The 2020 Roland-Garros saw Rafael Nadal winning his 13th title and Iga Swiatek winning her first. Both of them enjoyed amazing fortnights at the event and truly demolished their opponents in the finals. Swiatek has been a longtime admirer of Nadal and his style of tennis and recently the duo took a picture at the Rome Masters.
Once again they both had amazing weeks and won the trophies. Both of them will have the same goal at this year's French Open as well with both considered favourites to do so. In her media day press conference Swiatek said of Nadal:
"For now, I'm too overwhelmed to even say ‘Hi’. I'm a big fan of his, and if I'm going to have a chance to ask him some stuff and also learn from him, it would be great, but we are both busy, so I know it's going to be hard to schedule that.”
