Jabeur makes public appearance to discuss female empowerment
Ons Jabeur participated in a recent event with one of her sponsors, the Saudi-owned fitness and wellness brand Kayanee, where she was in Riyadh as part of a female empowerment discussion. The World No. 2 ended her WTA Tour season prematurely due to inconsistent results and injuries. Her last appearance was at Wimbledon, where she retired mid-match in the first round against Victoriya Tomova (6-7, 0-2, ret.). Jabeur is currently ranked just 76 in the WTA rankings and is expected to return in 2026.
"Loved being part of this beautiful @kayaneeofficial event 💛 Congrats on the launch of Kayanee Learn! Always a joy to share meaningful conversations about wellbeing and empowerment with such strong women"

Life After Tennis: Kvitova shares heartwarming family photo, Chris Evert enjoys fall season with grandson
Now away from competition, 2-time Wimbledon champion
Petra Kvitova shared a family photo shortly after her retirement, featuring her son Petr, born in July 2024, and her husband Jiří Vaněk. The former World No. 2 returned to the courts at the beginning of the year after time off for her pregnancy, but after a few months and without major results, she chose to step aside and retire, with her last tournament being the US Open two months ago. Now she announced that she and husband are expecting their second child.
Another one who shared photos of family time was the 18-time Grand Slam champion Chris Evert, who shared some photos with her grandson Hayes—son of her son Nicolas and his wife Rebecca. The American former World No. 1 shared some tender photos, which received greetings from fans. “This is how I'm spending most of my fall...❤️❤️❤️#HaydenJames”
Shapovalov and Berrettini turn seasons around
Denis Shapovalov and Matteo Berrettini are two players who are having a good week with the return of the European indoor hardcourts. The Canadian is competing in the Swiss Indoors Open and secured victories against Marcos Giron and Valentin Royer—guaranteeing his spot in the quarter-finals, where he will have a blockbuster showdown against the 19-year-old Brazilian star João Fonseca.
On the other hand, Berrettini also shared some photos on social media, sharing his joy after reaching the quarter-finals of the Vienna Open, marking the first time he has achieved consecutive victories in the same tournament since April of this year at the Monte-Carlo Masters. Since then, injuries kept him off the court for a good part of the time, and his few appearances at events have not been entirely successful. Berrettini seems to be putting his problems behind him after defeating rivals like Alexei Popyrin and Cameron Norrie. In the quarter-finals, he will face the 3rd seed Alex de Minaur.
