Victoria Azarenka congratulated Sloane Stephens on the Catalyst award received by the American foundation.
The Catalyst award recognizes diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives for women. This year, one of the winners was the Sloane Stephens Foundation, which has been working since 2013 to improve the well-being of young people through tennis, education, and healthy lifestyle choices. This week, the former US Open champion shared her excitement for the award received at ATX Open Austin, which includes a $25,000 donation.

Excited to share that the Sloane Stephens Foundation is proud recipient of the Catalyst Award, supported by Google, Austin Community Foundation, and Dropshot Tournament Series! I am so grateful for the generous donations and proud to be part of a community that empowers women!✨

The Belarusian will debut in the second round of BNP Paribas Open Indian Wells against the winner of the match between Yulia Putintseva and Karolina Muchova. Stephens had a difficult draw at Indian Wells, as she will face her compatriot and former Australian Open champion Sofia Kenin in the first round. If she wins, another Slam champion will be in her path: Elena Rybakina
