ATP Draw confirmed for 2023 BNP Paribas Open Indian Wells: Potential second round ties include Alcaraz-Holt, Fritz-Shelton, Tsitsipas-Monfils

The draw has been completed on the ATP side for BNP Paribas Open Indian Wells which takes place between March 8-19, 2023.

Carlos Alcaraz is top seed in California and could face son of Tracy Austin, Brandon Holt in the second round who received a wildcard.

Also in the first section, it could be an all British clash between Dan Evans and Jack Draper. Tomas Etcheverry who reached the final of Santiago will face Andy Murray.

Tommy Paul on home soil could face Michael Mmoh or Quentin Halys of France, as Felix Auger-Aliassime will begin his campaign as eighth seed against Marc-Andrea Huesler or Pedro Martinez.

Defending champion, Taylor Fritz headlines quarter two. He could face Ben Shelton in the second round or Fabio Fognini. Holger Rune could take on Mackenzie McDonald or Filip Krajinovic with Stan Wawrinka also in his section.

Dominic Thiem could face Lorenzo Musetti if he gets past Adrian Mannarino with a potential all Italian clash in the third round with Jannik Sinner.

In Quarter Three, Daniil Medvedev will face either John Isner or Brandon Nakashima, Casper Ruud will begin against either Diego Schwartzman or Federico Coria with Alexander Zverev likely to begin against Nikoloz Basilashvilil.

In Quarter Four, it could be Jiri Lehecka or Arthur Rinderknech for Andrey Rublev, while Stefanos Tsitsipas could face the returning Gael Monfils.

Cameron Norrie could take on Alexander Bublik as well with Frances Tiafoe also in the same quarter as Tsitsipas.
