Barbora Krejcikova due to returning to the top 10 this week in the WTA Ranking Update is alongside Madison Keys, the top name this week at the WTA Elite Trophy and has given fans the opportunity to come and see her play.
Krejcikova is set to continue her campaign second up on Wednesday when she faces Daria Kasatkina on a day in which home hope, Qinwen Zheng also begins against Donna Vekic.
She saw off Magda Linette with ease earlier today 6-2, 6-4, and is coming back into some form after losing to Qinwen Zheng in the Zhengzhou Open final recently.
She aimed though to call on some local support writing: "Anyone in Zhuhai who wants to come watch me tomorrow? Four tickets." which elicited replies of many wishing they were closer to China to take up her generous offer.
It has been two finals in the last three events and given her elevated status this week, Krejcikova will be one of the favourites. She is also ALT number one now for the WTA Finals and will head to Cancun anyway due to doubles action so could yet find herself in the field as the WTA Elite Trophy champion with Marketa Vondrousova and Ons Jabeur both doubts.
Karolina Muchova was the first to withdraw earlier today with Maria Sakkari taking her spot in the draw and Krejcikova could be next.
