The
WTA Elite Trophy starts on Tuesday 24 October and TennisUpToDate has all the details to catch the action with our
TV Guide.
Taking place for the first time in four years, it sees the main players outside the leading eight who did not qualify for the WTA Finals involved for the Elite Trophy title.
Aryna Sabalenka was the last winner in 2019 who of course now is World Number One. Top players involved this time around include Madison Keys, Barbora Krejcikova, Beatriz Haddad Maia and Qinwen Zheng who is joined by a wildcard home hope in Zhu Lin.
It is a round robin format which sees all players face off, with the winner of each of the four groups finding their way into the semi-finals. Maria Sakkari was due to play, but has instead banked on a withdrawal from the WTA Finals to likely be an alternate.
