Venus and Serena Williams set for latest film collaboration after King Richard success

Following the success of the biopic King Richard, Venus Williams and Serena Williams have undertaken another project that will see them deeply involved in the entertainment industry.
The sisters are teaming up with Alexandra Milchan, producer of the Oscar-nominated movie Tar, to produce a film reportedly called En Garde. This project will be based on Jewell Parker Rhodes’ bestselling book Black Brother, Black Brother, and the news was released soon after Serena announced the launch of her new production company, 926 Productions.
The upcoming film is based on a coming-of-age story about two biracial brothers – one who presents as white and the other as Black – as they navigate through a world filled with unforgiving social constructs.
Besides Milchan and the Williams sisters, Lara Shriftman and Isha Price are also listed as producers. It will be directed by filmmaker duo Bush Renz (Gerard Bush and Christopher Renz), known for the thriller film Antebellum.
