(VIDEO) Iga Swiatek and Ons Jabeur hilariously revisit Halloween Prank from last year at 2023 WTA Finals

Poland’s tennis star Iga Swiatek and Tunisia’s Ons Jabeur hilariously recalled the Halloween Prank from last year.

The two are currently taking part in the last major tournament in the calendar year — WTA Finals — in Cancun, Mexico.

Swiatek posted a hilarious video of a Halloween prank from last year and tagged Jabeur by stating: “Don't try this today @Ons_Jabeur please.”

Both players had a contrasting start to their campaign in the mega-event. The current world number two outclassed Czech Republic’s Marketa Vondrousova in the opening fixture with a score of 7-6, 6-0.

On the other hand, Jabeur was thrashed by America’s young tennis sensation Coco Gauff in her opening fixture with a score of 6-0, 6-1.

Swiatek will now face America’s Gauff in the next fixture. The 22-year-old has a fabulous record against the 19-year-old where she won on eight occasions in nine meetings.

On the other hand, Jabeur will face Vondrousova in the next fixture. It will be the eighth meeting between the two.

In the previous seven meetings, Vondrousova has a slight edge with four wins compared to three victories of Jabeur.

Their last meeting was in the final at Wimbledon where the 24-year-old came out on top in straight sets with a score of 6-4, 6-4.
