(VIDEO) Muchova shows talent for singing with Maroon 5 cover during time away from court ahead of Wimbledon

World number 16 Karolina Muchova has showcased her music skills in a recently shared video on social media.

The 26-year-old, who is fresh from her impressive outing in the French Open earlier this year, shared a video on her official Instagram account where she sang a famous song 'Sunday Morning' from legendary American band Maroon 5.

Muchova was brilliant at the Roland Garros where she eventually lost the final to world number one Iga Swiatek with a score of 6-2, 5-7, 6-4.

The Olomouc-born does not have a great record in Wimbledon where she has never qualified for a stage beyond quarterfinals.

She reached the last-eight twice, in 2019 and in 2021, and on both occasions, she ended up on the losing side, first against Elina Svitolina and then against Angelique Kerber.

This year, Muchova has been in impressive form across all tournaments. In 34 outings in all competitions, she won 25 of them and suffered just nine defeats.

However, it will be interesting to see whether the recent form will be enough for her to turn her fortunes around as she has the worst record on grass out of all the surfaces. She has a win percentage of 60.71 while playing on that surface.
