With the likelihood of play not resuming tonight due to the rain and the final being played tomorrow, a tournament official tried to convince Jelena Ostapenko to continue playing in the rain at the Rome Open.
But as The Tennis Letter put, it was Penko Powers as the rain got harder as he continued to speak and play was soon sent to a halt.
