The Women's draw has been released ahead of the upcoming Western & Southern Open - a WTA Premier event which this year will take place in New York.
A usual home of Cincinnati is no more for this year at least - all tennis in the US Open swing barring the previous tournament in Lexington will take place at Flushing Meadows.
This will give a perfect chance to see who is at the peak of their powers; especially in the Women's Draw; which has been massively depleted in both events.
The likes of Ashleigh Barty, Simona Halep, Bianca Andreescu, Elina Svitolina and Belinda Bencic are out; meaning fields are headlined by Karolina Pliskova; Australian Open champion Sofia Kenin and Serena Williams.
Williams will open her account against Alison van Uytvanck or a Qualifier. A potential Quarter-Final awaits with Johanna Konta, the No.8 seed. The bottom half of the draw sees Kenin who faces a potentially tricky opener against either Alizé Cornet or Caty McNally.
In addition, Defending champion Madison Keys is set for her potentially in the Quarter-Finals. While Pliskova will begin against either Veronika Kudermetova or Ajla Tomljanovic; her Quarter-Final could see Aryna Sabalenka, the No.5 seed.
Also, some of the big ties though include
Kim Clijsters who made her comeback earlier this year in Dubai facing Top Seed Open champion Jennifer Brady. Coco Gauff played well in Lexington; she will take on Maria Sakkari.
