WTA DRAW 2024 Hobart International as Danielle COLLINS set to face Elise MERTENS in main clash

The draw has been confirmed ahead of the 2024 Hobart International which will take place between January 8-13, 2024 with Elise Mertens as the top seed in the pre Australian Open warm-up.

Mertens will have the tie of the round as she faces Danielle Collins, the former Australian Open finalist. Tatjana Maria potentially awaits the winner in a quarter that also includes Peyton Stearns v Varvara Gracheva.

Zhu Lin is third seed and faces Lucia Bronzetti, with Sofia Kenin also in action facing Greet Minnen, the winner will face either Anna Blinkova or Daria Saville. Emma Navarro after her run to the semi-finals in Auckland will be second seed and faces Clara Burel. The winner could face Sara Sorribes Tormo.

Sloane Stephens, Marie Bouzkova and Linda Noskova are also among the top names in this WTA 250 which will be played in the week prior to the Australian Open. Adelaide International is also on the calendar led by Jessica Pegula and Elena Rybakina.
