The WTA makes it's long-anticipated return to China later this summer, with the Guangzhou Open scheduled from September 18-23, 2023 in Guangzhou, China.

A WTA 250 event, the tournament will feature several stars who will hopefully be coming off solid performances at the US Open. The event consists of a 32-woman singles field and a 16-team doubles draw.

Polish star and World No.24 Magda Linette will headline the event, alongside Romanian veteran Sorana Cirstea. There will also be several home favorites, with Chinese stars Lin Zhu, Xinyu Wang and Xiyu Wang present to energize the local crowd.
