The
WTA Finals is set to begin this week, with the top 8 women on Tour competing for the prestigious award at the elite year-ending championship.
The event features a round-robin format, consisting of two groups with four players randomly drawn for each group. This year's tournament will be held in Guadalajara, and the groups, Chichén Itzá and Teotihuacan, are named after ancient cities in Mexico.
