So far there have been four players who have mathematically made the cut for the WTA Finals in Guadalajara and they are Ashleigh Barty, Aryna Sabalenka, Karolina Pliskova and Barbora Krejcikova. Barty might elect to skip the event but the other 3 will certainly play at the event. Most likely joining them will be Maria Sakkari and Iga Swiatek who are very close to officially booking their place in the WTA Finals.
While both are about 700 points out of the official cut for the event bot are expected to qualify rather easily due to the difference they have between themselves are other players. Behind them, we have Osaka who trails them 400 points and her return to tennis is questionable as well. Then we have Muguruza who also trails them by 600 points and Jabeur by 800 points.
The battle for the final few spots will be an interesting one to watch as many great tennis players will be fighting for a spot at the WTA Finals. Check out the rankings below.
