"Doubles next year" says Nadal as he teases return to Laver Cup in 2022 with Federer

The 2021 Laver Cup proved a great success returning after not being held in 2020 due to the pandemic. Team Europe won comfortably as they simply had the better team and Rafael Nadal was watching and cheering. Federer was cheering as well but unlike Nadal, he was actually in Boston and saw everything in person.

Both Federer and Nadal enjoyed playing at the Laver Cup and it seems like Nadal is ready to come back to the event in 2022. He announced it by a tease on his Instagram story where he wrote 'doubles next year' with the Laver Cup 2022 event trailer running in the background.

It would be great for the event if Nadal and Federer came back in 2020 with the competition being held in an iconic tennis arena (O2) in London. Hopefully, their health allows for it to happen as the fans would enjoy it.
