WTA Rankings Update: Iva Jovic and Peyton Stearns among big risers as Raducanu, Joint and Lys likely to drop out of top 100

The WTA Rankings have been updated after yet another week with Iva Jovic being the starring light after winning in Guadalajara again for the second year running.

Jovic technically doesn't add points as she defends the 500 she won last year, but she has risen three spots this week and sits next zoning on Belinda Bencic.

With Bencic and even Amanda Anisimova ahead of her in freefall, it is very much likely that she joins Marta Kostyuk in the top 10 sooner rather than later who is the last player inside the higher echelons right now.

As a result of Jovic's rise, Diana Shnaider, Victoria Mboko, Sorana Cirstea all move down with the latter out of the top 15.

Ekaterina Alexandrova is one of the leading players to fall inside the top 20 as she goes down six spots which means Anna Kalinskaya in 21st as well as Madison Keys, Emma Navarro, Anastasia Potapova, Maja Chwalinska and Marie Bouzkova all go up a spot playing or not this week.

Cristina Bucsa goes up nine spots in 35th, while the big one is Peyton Stearns who reached the final in Guadalajara losing out to Jovic and she goes up 24 spots to 36th. Liudmila Samsonova is up 13 spots to 37th too just behind her.

Magdalena Frech also won big going up 12 spots to 45th. Paula Badosa in reaching the latter stages in Sao Paulo also shifts up 13 spots to 57th. Maya Joint on the opposite end is about to drop out of the top 100. She is in 99th and is down 31 spots this week. Emma Raducanu too similar who is in 98th as well as Eva Lys in 100th. All have been a lot higher and now likely have to fight for their futures at the top table.

In comparison to someone like Iva Jovic who is certainly on the rise and seemingly cannot be stopped. Two ends of very different coins.
