Elena Rybakina in the Yonex Kit for the Australian Open 2024
The official outfit to be worn by tennis star Elena Rybakina at the 2024 Australian Open has been revealed, and several tennis fans are not pleased at the new design.
Rybakina ended a three-year association with Adidas and moved to Yonex as her kit sponsor in May 2023. The Kazakh star wore her first Yonex outfit at the 2023 French Open, and has been clothed by the sporting giants ever since.

Yonex recently unveiled Rybakina's outfit for the upcoming Australian Open, which is scheduled to run from January 14-28, 2024, in Melbourne. The World No.4 will don a yellow and blue outfit while competing at the first Grand Slam of the season.
Upon reveal, some tennis fans took to social media to express their thoughts on the design. While several approved of the new kit, some were far more critical of the attire.
"What on earth is that???! Yonex you will pay for your crimes," wrote a fan on Twitter.
"Yonex I will set your headquarters on fire," said an enthusiastic fan.
"OK they better pay her more than Adidas otherwise it’s not worth it at all," wrote another fan.
"Worst thing she did was beat Iga 3 times and move to Yonex," argued a fan.
"It's not a slam winning kit, ffs Yonex do better," pleaded another user.
