2021 US Open Day 5 ATP & WTA Schedule of Play with Medvedev, Tsitsipas, Halep and Osaka

All of these players won their matches so far but they will need to win those on Day 5 as well if they hope to continue the journey towards a possible trophy. Day 5 brings us fewer matches than any of the days before as the tournament moves on but it's still a very good day of tennis.

Play will start at 17:00 CET and we will get underway with Simona Halep taking on Rybakina. It's a great matchup that will test both players. After that, we will see Garbine Muguruza take on Victoria Azarenka in another great matchup. Krejcikova will play Rakhimova as Svitolina takes on Kasatkina.

A battle of former champions will see Kerber take on Stephens while Jabeur will play Mertens. Naomi Osaka will play at 01:00 CET taking on Leylah Fernandez with the final match of the WTA day being between Collins and Sabalenka. On the men's side Daniil Medvedev will take on Pablo Andujar at 19:00 CET.

After that, we will see Stefanos Tsitsipas play Carlos Alcaraz and that is a must-watch affair. At 01:00 CET we will see Roberto Bautista Agut try to continue playing magical tennis against Felix Auger-Aliassime. The final match of the day will start at 02:30 between Andrey Rublev and Frances Tiafoe.
