2022 Roland Garros Quarterfinal Day with Djokovic - Nadal, Alcaraz - Zverev, Gauff - Stephens

The first quarterfinal day at Roland Garros brings us some interesting matchups including the one between Djokovic and Nadal that might settle the winner.

Play will begin a little later tomorrow with the first match starting at noon instead of the typical 11:00 start. The first match of the day will be Leylah Fernandez taking on Martina Trevisan. Neither played this deep at Roland Garros before but Trevisan was never this deep at a grand slam ever. The Canadian is the favourite but it should be a good one.

The next match is between Coco Gauff and Sloane Stephens. The American derby happened at the US Open last year and Stephens won that match easily. Gauff admitted she was very nervous in that one and hopes to do better this time. The next match is the first men's quarterfinal between Alcaraz and Zverev. They played in Madrid recently and Alcaraz won that one easily.

The final match of the day is the night session spectacle between Djokovic and Nadal. They played in very similar circumstances last year and Djokovic was able to win that match.
