The summer clay court circuit is on the calendar in mid July with the Hamburg European Open, a typical stop off set for July 24-30, 2023.
Bringing together 32 players as one of the 13 ATP Tour 500 stops, it is held in the heart of Hamburg in a stadium which features a retractable roof and a superb line-up.
Casper Ruud will headline alongside fellow clay court aces, Lorenzo Musetti and Francisco Cerundolo. While in terms of home hopes, Alexander Zverev will be part of the line-up alongside Jan-Lennard Struff who excelled during the main clay court season. Andrey Rublev is also involved.
It begins a slew of tournaments before the US Open season kicks off including the Atlanta Open and Umag on the same week before attention turns mostly to USA and South America.
