2024 Wimbledon Championships Prize Money and Points Breakdown: How much will winners earn for glory at SW19?

With the Entry Lists now confirmed, the road to Wimbledon begins and the Prize Money and Points Breakdown will be confirmed in due course for the third Grand Slam tournament of the season.
Taking place between 1 July until 14 July 2024, the classic two-week format will return, but the tournament will continue with a start date one week later due to a shift from the All England Club.
The current champion is Carlos Alcaraz who won the title last year defeating Novak Djokovic on the men's side. As well as Marketa Vondrousova who defeated Ons Jabeur. The Prize Money is not yet confirmed, but will be updated when the run-up to the tournament begins with a record haul for champions last year.
It was £44,700,000 for the 2023 winners. That was an 11.2% increase on 2022 and 17.1% on the pre-pandemic edition of Wimbledon in 2019. The Ladies and Gentlemen's singles champions in Alcaraz and Vondrousova received £2,350,000 and £1,175,000 respectively. Main Draw losing players in the opening round for instance were set to receive £55,000 which was a 10% increase on 2022. As a result, it is likely that in 2024, the prize money will once again increase during this next year.

- It's been an ongoing issue for too long now. Even though it's not our business to know the details... it's worrisome; disconcerting even. "Gastrointestinal" covers many things. My concern, as an Ulcerative Colitis patient since 1976, is that she has some form of Colitis. I recognize reactions and symptoms. If so, perhaps knowing this others would be encouraged by her own courage in plowing forth while dealing. Anyway, pretty sure I wouldn't reveal details myself but at least give us a reason to feel better for Elena.mandoist25-06-2024
