Dominic Thiem split with his coach Nicolas Massu recently and the Austrian has only good words for the former player who spent four years with him.
Thiem and Massu worked for four years together and they were very good ones for Thiem.
You could easily say they were the four best years he had in his career and that's what he'll mostly remember it for. He didn't want to go into detail about why the split happened as Massu didn't talk to the media either but Thiem had this to say:
"All I want to hold in my mind is what an amazing 4 years we've had, what an amazing journey we've been on together. Only after it's over I've realized of all the success we had together, and that's what stays with me. Now it's time to start a new chapter"
The results haven't been good this year but that was mostly due to Thiem not playing with a lot of confidence however it might have played a role in the split.
