For the second time after Andy Murray had to return against Stefanos Tsitispas, the Night Session match will have to be played later today in Novak Djokovic v Hubert Hurkacz with many critical of Wimbledon's scheduling.
This includes former coach of Andre Agassi, Brad Gilbert. Poised at 7-6 (6), 7-6 (6) in favour of the Serbian, the referee called for play to be suspended at 10:35pm.
25 minutes before the curfew but the likelihood barring a bagel set of the match being done was obsolete.

Crazy that three matches cannot be completed in a day - Gilbert

Gilbert tweeted himself that it was crazy that the matches couldn't be done or were going to the wire every night with Elena Rybakina the only exception winning 6-1, 6-1 against Katie Boulter.
Djokovic who has played most of them has only just beat the time curfew throughout and with play starting an hour later on the main court, many have called for the staggered start to be removed.
"Crazy we cant finish 3 matches on center, maybe next year we can start matches at 1230 on center. 12 on court one," Gilbert tweeted.

No curfew change

But one aspect that won't be changed will be the curfew with many remarking about that aspect.
But as is the case throughout London as Gilbert remarked, it is always an 11pm curfew due to noise and with Wimbledon being in a residential area, it is unlike other tournaments that continue to play.
"One thing is for sure from seeing many responses, 1st why I said next year for earlier starts on center and one. There is absolute zero chance [play] can go later then 11pm. It is not just Wimbledon it's all over London. At other venues most are 1030," he continued.
