zverevThe ATP Draw has been concluded ahead of the 2022 Australian Open which still may or may not include defending champion and World No.1, Novak Djokovic.
Djokovic is slated to face off against Miomir Kecmanovic in opening round with Tommy Paul or a qualifier awaiting the winner but Alex Hawke could still make the decision to deport the Serbian before the tournament begins next week.
In that case, Rafael Nadal and Daniil Medvedev would headline the field with the latter potentially set to face Nick Kyrgios in the second round with Henri Laaksonen up first.
While for Nadal, it will be Marcos Giron and being on the same side as Djokovic opens up the potential for the two members of the so called 'Big Three' to face off in the semi-finals.
Alexander Zverev could face Rafael Nadal prior in the Quarter-Finals with the German to start against Daniel Altmaier before potentially John Millman or Feliciano Lopez await.
Andy Murray who saw off Nikoloz Basilashvili and defeated him at both Wimbledon and this past week in Sydney will face him again in Round One after their marathon clash.
While Brandon Nakashima faces Matteo Berrettini who again could meet Djokovic in the latter stages, Alex de Minaur will face Lorenzo Musetti, Cameron Norrie faces Sebastian Korda and Felix Auger-Aliassime begins his account against Emil Ruusuvuori in some of the top first round ties.
