Another week, another ATP Rankings update and the last before Indian Wells as Stefanos Tsitsipas shines before a stint in the desert. He won the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships this past week and moves back into the top 10.

Tsitsipas finally achieved a milestone that had long eluded him in the form of winning an ATP 500 title. He won the final 6-3, 6-3 against Felix Auger-Aliassime and had previously lost 11 finals on the ATP 500 circuit.

As Auger-Aliassime will know having his own issues before getting over the line, once the floodgates open, it is very much more and more from there as the Canadian has won two titles alone this year. The Greek earned 400 points from sealing the title and has re-entered the top 10.

He has moved from 11th to ninth with Tommy Paul the player to fall out. It has been a tough road for Tsitsipas who has gone from red hot last season in Monte-Carlo to not being able to buy a win. But in a similar move to Madison Keys on the WTA side, she changed her racquet and it is now paying dividends. He will now be heading to that manufacturer for sure to try and get a deal as he has shown it works.

Tomas Machac also worked this week in getting his ranking up. Winning the ATP 500 title in Acapulco, he saw off Alejandro Davidovich Fokina 7-6(6), 6-2 in the final. This title earned him 475 points which takes him to a career high ranking of World No.20.

Ben Shelton lost in the Last 16 of Acapulco but was also a winner this week. He dropped 50 points but Jack Draper dropped 190 so he moved up to World No.12. A career best thus far. While when it comes to priorly mentioned Auger-Aliassime, he is up three spots to World No.18 after reaching the final.

Felix Auger-Aliassime reached a third final of the year losing to Tsitsipas.

Davidovich Fokina also surged going up a superb nine spots reaching World No.39. The rest of the top 10 remains unchanged after Tsitsipas returned.

Jannik Sinner still leads ahead of Alexander Zverev and Carlos Alcaraz. Tommy Paul shifted out due to Tsitsipas rejoining the fray. While Laslo Djere saw off Sebastian Baez in Santiago and he jumped 29 spots to sit at World No.74.

Sinner of course cannot add to his total as he is banned for the next few months. Alexander Zverev had a golden chance to become World No.1 but performed poorly at the Golden Swing. Now Sinner is bound to keep it until at least the clay court swing.
