The ATP 250 Delray Beach Open will be the second tournament of the season to be played in the United States, again on hard courts — just like in Dallas — although this will be the first on outdoor courts, with a total prize money pool of $700,045 and a gathering of the top local stars in a single tournament.
Back in 2025, for the first time in six years, there was a final without any local players, in a match where Miomir Kecmanovic claimed the title, saving match points against Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, who lost the second final of his career — an outcome that would happen to him three more times during 2025.
This time, local players will aim to bring the title back home in Delray Beach, where six of the last ten champions have been local players (compared to only four in the previous 35 editions). We will see eight of the top ten ranked local players competing, led by two-time champion Taylor Fritz (No. 7), alongside other key names such as Learner Tien (No. 23), Tommy Paul (No. 24), 2018 champion Frances Tiafoe (No. 30), and Sebastian Korda (No. 53).
However, several international contenders preparing for the Sunshine Double in North American tournaments will also be in the mix. Casper Ruud (No. 13) and Flavio Cobolli (No. 20) are the highest-ranked after Fritz and serious title contenders, along with 2022 champion Cameron Norrie (No. 26).
