The tennis continues in the States with the players gearing up towards the prestigious Sunshine swing. Preparation will be key at the
Delray Beach Open in Florida with the event kicking off from February 16-22.
Some high calibre tennis players will be on hand to provide entertainment and some thrilling action, with the American number one
Taylor Fritz looking to regain his title. The former US Open final won the title back-to-back in 2023 and
2024 with some commanding showings. He only managed a quarter-final last year with the runner-up Alejandro Davidovich Fokina downing him while utilising a couple of tiebreaks in the process.
The Spaniard is not appearing this year, and there may be questions whether
Casper Ruud will turn up after the birth of his daughter motivated him to skip the Dallas Open just a week before hand. The three-time Grand Slam finalist will be looking to get back up to speed ahead of the Sunshine swing, with this ATP 250 event being a great opportunity to do so.
Flavio Cobolli is a player out of form, unable to repeat his Davis Cup Finals heroics in 2026 with some dreadful results. He is in desperate need to pick up some positivity on tour while
Tommy Paul is looking to get back to his best after an injury plagued second half to 2025, shutting down the progress he made early on. He is also a previous finalist, losing to Fritz in 2024 in a straight sets defeat.
The American contingent will be strong in Florida, with Australian Open quarter-finalist Learner Tien looking to continue his stunning form this year as he searches for a second title after picking up the Moselle Open title at the end of 2025. That came against Cameron Norrie who won this title in 2022.
Brandon Nakashima, 2018 champion Frances Tiafoe and 2021 runner-up Sebastian Korda all look to put on a show for the American crowds, with Valentin Vacherot, Corentin Moutet and Gabriel Diallo all looking towards deep runs with the added motive to add a bunch of ranking points to his tally.
