Emma Raducanu's magical
Wimbledon run came to an end in disappointing fashion and the topic became a major one in the United Kingdom.
Raducanu has enjoyed a sensational debut at Wimbledon reaching the 4th round in her first time playing at the event. The teenager played some great tennis and took down some big names but it ended with a retirement against Tomljanovic. Many notable people spoke about the matter with many of those commest drawing criticism.
Manchester United football player and England international Marcus Rashford sent a classy and supportive message to Raducanu saying a similar thing happened to him years ago while playing for England's U16 side. Rashford offered words of encouragement saying it never happened again. He said:
2It happened to me playing for the national team in U16s against Wales. I remember it to this day. No explanation for it and it never happened again. You should be very proud of yourself. The country is proud of you. Glad to read your feeling better. Onwards and upwards"
