Several of the world's top 10 ATP players will be among the field at the 2025
Vienna Open, which takes place in Vienna, Austria from October 20-26, 2025.
An ATP 500 event, the Vienna Open is one of the final tournaments on the ATP calendar. Players who are in the hunt for qualification at the year-ending ATP Finals will hope to use this opportunity to strengthen their ranking as the season comes to an end.
The Vienna Open will feature a 32-player singles field and 16 doubles team. The tournament has seen several World No.1's prevail, with the likes of Andy Murray, Daniil Medvedev and
Jannik Sinner lift the trophy in the past few years.
Sinner emerged victorious at the 2023 edition, and will return as he hopes to regain his No.1 ranking from US Open champion Carlos Alcaraz. The Italian will be joined by compatriots Lorenzo Musetti, rising star Flavio Cobolli and Luciano Darderi.
Former champion Medvedev in the hunt
The 2021 US Open champion has had a disappointing season, acquiring a 30-20 match record this season. Medvedev won the Vienna trophy in 2022, and could rediscover his form this late in the season as the Russian tends to play well on indoor hard courts.
German star
Alexander Zverev won the title in 2021, defeating American Frances Tiafoe in the final. The former World No.2 is the second seed in Vienna, but has failed to live up to expectations after suffering several upset losses this season.
Australian ace Alex de Minaur is also scheduled to compete in Vienna, alongside Americans Tommy Paul, Frances Tiafoe and Brandon Nakashima. Russians Andrey Rublev and Karen Khachanov have also been announced for the event, with Rublev winning the Vienna title in 2020. Below is the list of entrants.

Predictions
Samuel Gill, Head Editor for TennisUpToDate.com sees Jannik Sinner sealing the title.
Jannik Sinner for me is the standout. He often is a title winner prior to the run-in that sees him currently albeit without withdrawals play in confidence the Paris Masters, Davis Cup and ATP Finals.
So while he hasn't withdrawn yet and there are rumours but it isn't fully 100% that he might not play those events, I think he gets a confidence boost there. Alexander Zverev too for my money goes in with a good quarter and is another favourite.
