Taking place between 19-25 May, 2024, the Lyon Open marks a pre-cursor to the French Open with the draw now confirmed for the ATP 250 also known as Open Parc Auvergne Rhone Alpes Lyon.
Arthur Fils is the current defending champion. But he won't be defending the title this time around after withdrawing mid last week. Another Frenchman will attempt to take over the mantle as top player in the draw, that being Ugo Humbert.
The French No.1 will face Dominik Koepfer or Brandon Nakashima in the second round. Lurking in the same quarter is Tomas Martin Etcheverry who faces Thiago Seyboth Wild or Pedro Martinez. Alexander Bublik is the other top name in the draw.

Tiafoe, Mannarino, Cerundolo and Monfils among leading lights

After a few months of rising to career highs, he will look to add another title. He starts off against either Mackenzie McDonald or Aleksandar Vukic. Third seed is another Frenchman to go alongside Humbert in Adrian Mannarino. He faces potentially Luciano Darderi.
Frances Tiafoe is also involved. He opens up against Jaume Munar with Dan Evans or Arthur Rinderknech awaiting. Opening up the next section is Gael Monfils who faces Yoshihito Nishioka.

Frances Tiafoe, one of the leading names involved this week at the Lyon Open.
Francisco Cerundolo, Mariano Navone and a tie between Alexandre Muller and Richard Gasquet are also among the highlights. The ATP hits Lyon for the final chapter ahead of the French Open.
Albeit not attracting the likes of Novak Djokovic and Casper Ruud, it is a competitive field in comparison to a stacked effort in Geneva.
