How to watch ATP Hong Kong Open featuring Lorenzo Musetti, Alexander Bublik and Andrey Rublev

The 2026 Hong Kong Open will celebrate its 30th edition as an ATP 250 tournament and will be played at the Victoria Park Tennis Stadium from 5 to 11 January, forming part of the traditional warm-up events ahead of the Australian Open. With four Top-20 players in the draw — led by Lorenzo Musetti — the tournament is set to crown a new champion.

First contested in 1973, with Rod Laver lifting the trophy, the Hong Kong Open boasts a rich history. Several former world No. 1 players have claimed the title over the years, including Jimmy Connors, Pete Sampras, Ivan Lendl, Marcelo Ríos and Andre Agassi. However, the event was suspended for more than two decades, going unplayed between 2003 and 2023, before returning in 2024, when Andrey Rublev captured the title.

The defending champion this time is Alexandre Müller, who defeated former world No. 4 Kei Nishikori in the 2025 final. Müller arrives as the eighth seed and under pressure to produce a strong run, as an early exit could expose him to a significant drop in the rankings.

The tournament will feature Musetti as the only Top-10 player, but he will be joined by several high-profile names, including Alexander Bublik (No. 11), Andrey Rublev (No. 16) and Karen Khachanov, ensuring a competitive field in Hong Kong.

The Hong Kong Open, played during the first week of the season, will be broadcast by the ATP Tour’s usual rights holders. In the United States, Tennis Channel will air the matches live, while in the United Kingdom, coverage will be provided by Sky UK.

In Australia, the tournament will once again be shown on beIN Sports Australia, while in Latin America, broadcasting rights remain with ESPN International, with additional streaming available via the Disney+ LATAM platform.
