Yesterday was the last day of the Ultimate Tennis Showdown and Matteo Berrettini emerged as the victor. He became so after a tough match against Stefanos Tsitsipas that ended in the sudden death. It was the 2nd such match for Berrettini that day and it exhausted me quite a bit as he recapped it post-match. The Hammer said after the match:

"Hey guys, It's Matteo Berrettini here, the Hammer I guess. Pretty happy to be here, I won a crazy match, two crazy matches actually, sudden death. I don't know, really exhausted, really tired. I enjoyed this format a lot and I hope you enjoyed it as well."

In that statement, he also confirmed that this won't be the last iteration of the Ultimate Tennis Showdown. He confirmed it will happen again although he is not sure when and if he will be a part of it. Reiterating that he enjoyed it very much he admitted if fans wanted to see him he would answer.

He closed out the recap by saying: "See you guys in the next few months. Grazie and Ciao."
