Roberto Bautista and Anastasija Sevastova are the first two winners at the bett1 Aces in Berlin as they advanced to the semifinals

Roberto Bautista Agut and Jan-Lennard Struff kicked-off the bett1 Aces in the best possible style. Fans in Berlin could see all 3 sets and a lot of excitement in the first men's match of the tournament. On the other hand, in first women's match between Anastasija Sevastova and Julia Goerges we saw sad ending as the German injured herself during the match.
Bautista was losing already 0-2 and faced 2 breakpoints on his service in the first set. However, he managed to come back and win the first set 6-3. After losing his service again in the second set, he didn't manage to pull off another comeback. However, he showed his skill in the super tie-break and won the match 6-3, 3-6, 10-7.
After the German fans were disappointed after the loss of Struff, Julia Goerges could make their day better again. The German was giving a tough battle to Anastasija Sevastova, however, she injured herself in the 7th game of the 2nd set and needed to pull out of the match when the scoreboard was showing 6-3, 4-3 for Sevastova.
In the semifinals, Roberto Bautista Agut will be facing Matteo Berrettini who recently triumphed at the Ultimate Tennis Showdown. Sevastova will take on Elina Svitolina in the first women's semifinal match at the tournament.
