Novak Djokovic saw 'the special one' watch his match at the
Rome Open and he got the chance to meet A.S. Roma coach Jose Mourinho after the match.
Novak Djokovic won his first match at the Rome Open and in the stands we had noted football coach Jose Mourinho in attendance. Speaking after the match, Djokovic admitted he was glad to win with Mourinho in attendance as they met up after the match as well with the Portuguese coach getting an autograph from the Serbian as well.
Djokovic said after the match:
"He's [Mourinho] an avid tennis fan, of course one of the greatest football coaches that we have not just today but in history. I'm really honored that he's coming to watch my matches. I really appreciate that."
He added:
"Very, very nice person. Always was very kind to me and my team," he continued. "Yeah, hopefully I can return the favor and go watch his team when he's coaching because I don't think I've ever done that. Maybe Real Madrid, when he was in Madrid I went to watch couple times."
