Debuting in Prague back in 2017, the
Laver Cup will head to a new place in 2027 in the form of Los Angeles. The event is set to be staged at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California from 24-26 September 2027.
The 2027 edition will follow the return to London when the event will be staged at The O2 from 25-27 September. London was the setting of Roger Federer's retirement back in 2022 alongside his great rivals Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray.
Los Angeles will then provide a stage for the next chapter of the Laver Cup as it begins a glut of major sporting events in the city over the next few years including the World Cup, Super Bowl LXI and the 2028 Olympic and Parlympic Games.
Now the Laver Cup joins the party with the tournament pitting the top European players against the world's best.
“Roger Federer’s vision was to create an event that honoured Rod Laver and celebrated the very best of our sport,” said Laver Cup Chairman and TEAM8 CEO Tony Godsick.
Intuit Dome sets the stage
"From the beginning, we set out to build a team competition unlike anything else in tennis, bringing the world's best players together as teammates. As we prepare for the 10th edition of the Laver Cup, it's incredibly rewarding to see how that vision has been embraced by fans, players and partners around the world."
Intuit Dome will host it with the arena being the home of NBA's LA Clippers. The venue has set a new standard for fan experience with top hospitality and fan-centric designs. It has also hosted the NBA All-Star Game and will be the home of basketball for the Olympics meaning it is perfectly suited for the Laver Cup.
“Los Angeles is one of the world’s leading destinations for major sporting events and live entertainment,” said Laver Cup CEO Steve Zacks.
"Intuit Dome has redefined the fan experience and set a new benchmark for live sport. We can think of no better city and venue to host the 10th edition of the Laver Cup.”
