The Men's Draw has been confirmed for 2022 Western & Southern Open which will take place between 14-21 August, 2022 as the traditional warm-up for the US Open in Cincinnati.
Top seed is Daniil Medvedev who faces a tough section as he first will face either Botic van de Zandschulp or Maxime Cressy in the second round.
Rafael Nadal returns for the first time since his abdominal tear at Wimbledon and will face either Borna Coric or a Qualifier/Lucky Loser.
Other ties to watch include Taylor Fritz-Sebastian Baez in the same section as Nick Kyrgios - Alejandro Davidovich Fokina. In addition, Matteo Berrettini - Frances Tiafoe, Carlos Alcaraz facing either Mackenzie McDonald or Nikoloz Basilashvili as third seed.
Defending champion is Alexander Zverev but he will not play due to injury while Novak Djokovic is facing a battle to play at all during the US Open swing with COVID-19 rules relaxed but travel yet to be decided as of time of writing.
