Nick Kyrgios had no issues in beating Tseng 6-3 6-1 in the opening round of the Japan showing off his stellar form once more.
Nothing changed as Nick Kyrgios rested in his native Australia as he completely dominated in his first match back. He faced an up-and-coming player that is not yet good enough to compete with the best but he certainly knows how to play tennis.
He was no match for Kyrgios especially once the Aussie player found his footing. As expected there were some early struggles by him and he had to save a break point in the first game of the match. When he finally figured things out, the match was over rather quickly.
He took a break at 3-2 to make it 4-2 and then held his serve for the 5-2 lead. He finished off the first set with 6-3. The second set was even quicker as Kyrgiso proved merciless attacking Tseng from both sides. He hit plenty of winners as he rushed to a 6-1 finish to move on at the event. A good start for Kyrgios who hasn't played since the US Open.
