Novak Djokovic won the 2021 Roland Garros and now he will travel to Mallorca where he will prepare for the Wimbledon on the grass courts there.
Novak Djokovic became a 19x Grand Slam champion at the 2021 Roland Garros by defeating Stefanos Tsitsipas 3-2 in the final. Now the champion turns his attention toward Wimbledon which starts on June 28th. Djokovic as of now is not scheduled to compete at any grass events prior to the Grand Slam however he will travel to Mallorca.
Mallorca has a grass-court event coming up next week and has a very sophisticated tennis club where the event is taking place. Djokovic is not going to compete at that event but he will use the facilities on Mallorca to prepare for the grass-court season which for him will only be Wimbledon.
The event will feature a solid field of play with Dominic Thiem taking a wild card last week. He will be the first seed with Pablo Carreno Busta as the 2nd seed. Nick Kyrgios will also make his long-awaited return to tennis at the event. It's unclear whether Djokovic might change his mind and take part in the event but even if he does not he will have plenty of talent to train with.
