Sebastian Korda is having the best season of his short career, as the American is set to make his debut in the Top 40 of the
ATP Rankings.
The 21-year old has reached two ATP singles finals this year, finishing runner-up in Delray Beach before claiming his maiden title at Parma without dropping a set. Following his title victory, Korda pulled off some impressive wins, including a run to the fourth round of Wimbledon, to reach a career-high of World No.42.
The American defeated his compatriot Tommy Paul in the first round of the ongoing
San Diego Open, and this win ensured Korda would reach a new career-high of World No.40. Furthermore, if Korda were to win the event, he could see his ranking rise as high as No.30.
