Taylor Fritz takes a minute to think during the ATP Finals.
It is another Daily Dose of Social Media as we head further into the off season and Taylor Fritz hilariously went viral for playing Celebrity Poker, Eva Lys went on a 'date' while Jannik Sinner attempted to claim the one crown he can't against Carlos Alcaraz.
Our Daily Dose of Social Media gives you the top entertainment and social media moments you may have missed from the past day in tennis whether on or off the court.

Taylor Fritz - Confirmed Gambler

While top tennis stars head abroad during the off season, Taylor Fritz is spending money but not on holidays. He was doing so on the poker table at the Celebrity Poker Championship.
Fritz went viral within the tennis world for being seen randomly playing the event days after getting home from the ATP Finals in Turin. He also did so for his comments earlier in the year about no off-season and only getting one week off a year. Does this include poker?
"There’s no offseason, and if you’re a top player, you actually get even less of an offseason…If the season were to end in Paris…you get a month and a half before the season starts…but if you’re playing the Tour Finals and the Davis Cup…you’re actually adding three more weeks onto it…I get one week off the whole year. It’s absurd," he said to ESPN.
PTPA tweeted: “Players have been saying it for years: the calendar is broken. @taylor_fritz knows that endless travel and nonstop tournaments aren’t signs of a thriving sport — they’re signs of burnout." and many used the Poker pictures as a way of digging at Fritz humorously for saying there's no off season but managing to play poker.
He was knocked out of the tournament in a single hand by India Love with Michael Phelps, Austin Ekeler among others also on the table. Very much the brilliant and bizarre and also ironic given Fritz comments on the off season.

Eva Lys 'finally on a date'

Eva Lys was back on her trademark humour saying she was on a date but not what you think.
"Finally on a date guys," she captioned her hilarious Instagram sotry as she was literally and figuratively on a date.
Lys spoke earlier this week about her ranking rise as she surged towards the top 40 and how she has gone from thinking she will have no worries to in reality being the complete opposite and how her best year of her career in reality has been a bit of a lesson.
The German No.1 has also been open during the Billie Jean King Cup Qualifiers about another problem in the women's game in particular and that is stalking with players being more accessible than ever through social media. She said that people have found her hotel room numbers and follow her to tournaments.
Karolina Muchova and Emma Raducanu are two primary examples where it went wrong as their stalkers were spotted in the stands. One was previously dating Muchova but reappeared at a tournament.
Albeit it is good to know that with Lys despite all of the candid chats that she is still evoking the humorous side.

Sinner tries to one up Alcaraz...at golf

Jannik Sinner is trying it seems to beat Carlos Alcaraz at the one thing he can't - golf. Sinner previously said that he wouldn't be playing golf with Carlos Alcaraz as he is too good.
But he was brushing up his skills on a trip to the GardaGolf Country Club as his off-season begins.
“Thank you, thank you very much,” Sinner said when told to enjoy the golf with Alcaraz earlier in the season. “No, no, no,” he exclaimed, shaking his finger.
Why won’t he play golf with Alcaraz? Sinner’s answer was blunt in response: “Carlos is better than me—better to play with my team,” the Italian said with a laugh.
Sinner was due to be in Bologna this week for the Davis Cup Finals with Italy managing to just about squeak through to the semi-finals. But he decided for a longer break instead much to the behest of the nation. Albeit Alcaraz also had to withdraw albeit through injury over a desire for a holiday.

Carlos Alcaraz' unintentionally hilarious Davis Cup support message

Speaking of, he draw humour unintentionally today when he shared a picture of him supporting the Spanish Davis Cup team from home when he couldn't be there in person.
The humour as among the innocent Vamos post was his trophies in the background on Ikea shelves.
Fans on social media dubbed him the most hilarious tennis player going that that all his big trophies live cluttered on a kitchen shelf. As well as images of himself in frames.
While unintentionally funny or not, Alcaraz is certainly there in spirit as Marcel Granollers and Pedro Martinez anchored their side to victory to set up a semi-final tie.

Is golf the new Maldives as Emma Navarro tries her hand

Speaking of golf, it seems it was the new Maldives this week as Emma Navarro tried her hand at the sport.
She was invited to the RSM Classic, a PGA Tour event. She saw the humorous side to her strokes as she shared a behind the scenes look.
Jessica Pegula questioned her technique as she wondered about her being a lefty when she plays tennis with her right hand.
While fellow pro Caroline Dolehide just said 'Clean'. She said to start the video that she'd been practicing and her strokes were clean and efficient. We'll let you be the judge.

Not on holiday yet but De Minaur reminisces

Alex de Minaur hasn't yet headed to the Maldives or anywhere with his fiance Katie Boulter with a late finish to the season.
But he shared his recap of the ATP Finals after he reached the semi-finals in Turin. The Aussie has been superb at times this year and his trademark consistent best.
He shared a behind the scenes look at his time in Turin as he brings a curtain down on his 2025 season.
