(VIDEO) "Blow... we need everybody to help": Djokovic jokes as he attempts to help dry Centre Court at Wimbledon

Novak Djokovic has been off court for closing in on an hour with a rain delay seeing the players on Centre Court go off until the roof came on at 2023 Wimbledon.

But as ever, it takes time for the roof to come on meaning rain can break through and cause delays even with the roof and it cannot be put on pre-emptively in case of rain.

Djokovic saw the funny side though and was also pro active in his quest for play to resume.

He went on to the court with a towel attempting to dry it and jovially on the side said "Blow... we need everybody to help" as a member of his coaching team fanned the court.

Crowd were getting restless though with shouts of 'get on with it' and a groundsman soon came on with a blower.

Not a good look for the tournament on the opening day but one that has made for great entertainment.
