VIDEO: Federer delights fans with return to practice court ahead of potential comeback

While it is likely that Roger Federer won't be seen on a tennis court again till past Wimbledon with the Laver Cup mooted as his return, he has delighted fans in the past day or so by sharing footage of his return to the practice court.

The 40-year-old Swiss maestro previously said end of the summer or early autumn is his aim after undergoing knee surgery.

But the video which garnered thousands of likes show Federer is back hitting tennis balls and while his movement is limited due to the injury, it is a small step and one which will delight his fans.
