I’ve never seen a point like this in my life One guy is about to hit an overhead while standing close to the net The other guy lines his racquet up with his opponent to block the shot entirely. I’m not sure if this is even legal, but it’s creative 😂
Sometimes tennis can bring out the utter sublime and even the questionable in terms of what is legal on the court and that was the case from Tair Sarmanov in a tournament in Kazakhstan.
In a match showcased by the Kazakhstan Tennis Federation, one player is about to hit an overhead while standing close to the net.
The other player lines his racquet up with his opponent to block the shot entirely in a move which on the face of it is illegal on the tennis court.
As The Tennis Letter put it, 'I've never seen a point like this in my life' and it is one that has to be seen to be believed.
