Alexander Zverev clinched the
Davis Cup tie on his return to the Germany team against Brazil but was left annoyed in the post match press conference after abuse was seemingly levied at family members and his girlfriend.
In a video of the post match press conference released by
Site Tenis News, Zverev said that fans crossed the line with his brother and his girlfriend Sophia both in the stadium.
"When it gets towards your family members or somebody that you love, this is where I draw the line for respect. Today that line was crossed basically."
According to further reports, Zverev had to stop the game at one point and call the umpire to the chair because they were screaming his girlfriends' name in an offensive way.
With also fans in attendance showing their displeasure towards the German regarding his recent Acapulco incident where he was defaulted from the tournament after smashing his racquet against the umpire's chair.
