Double standards are everywhere in life and tennis fans called them out in tennis. Andy Murray recently hit out against the Rome crowd following what he thought was rather rude behavior during his match against Fognini. Italian crowd can be spicy so it's not a baseless claim however tennis fans on social media pointed out how Rune was criticized for doing the same thing recently.
"Stadium full of Italians booing and whistling, thinking I'm trying to cheat Fabio out of point all because Mo [Mohamed Lahyani] couldn't read a mark properly. Cheers mate."
Some fans reacted to it and we bring you the reactions below.
"Bitter Andy Murray is my favourite Andy Murray," a user commented.
"Y'all were calling holger 75 different flavors of the word brat for saying something similar at madrid hmmmmm."
"But when its Holger all of TT is snickering."
"This unnecessary drama would not have happened if we just used electronic lines calling. It's not always perfect, but neither is human lines calling. Plus, why show tv audience the hawkeye just to confirm Mo was wrong?"
