Alcaraz is ready for his participation in the Davis Cup, where he will be the
main figure of the Spanish team. The Europeans share Group B with France,
Australia, and the Czech Republic, with matches to be held in Valencia. Alcaraz
arrives after an early exit from the US Open and hopes to regain his form while
defending Spain.

No. 3 recently took part in a fun video from the official Davis Cup accounts:
“Can you name tennis terminology starting with the letters from #DavisCup?” In
the video, his teammate Pablo Carreño Busta and captain David Ferrer also join
'Carlitos' as they try to name tennis terms starting with each letter of the
alphabet.
Opelka reminisces
iconic USA-Themed photo with Fritz and Paul

Opelka recently spoke in an interview about an iconic photo he has with Tommy
Paul and
Taylor Fritz from their junior days. In one of the photos, they are
both shirtless during a tournament, each with a letter of "USA," and
Paul has the American flag on his back.
Opelka
recently returned to the Tour after more than a year away from the ATP circuit.
The American played at the US Open, where he lost in the first round to 16th
seed Lorenzo Musetti.
Draper meets
tennis legends
Jack Draper
met with a couple of tennis legends during his participation in the US Open.
The British No. 1 had an impressive run in the year's final Grand Slam,
reaching the semifinals, where he lost to World No. 1 Jannik Sinner in straight
sets.
Despite the
bitter defeat, where Draper struggled physically towards the end of the match,
the World No. 20 can take away some positive conclusions from the tournament,
as it highlighted his potential to compete for the biggest titles on the Tour.
During his
time at Flushing Meadows, Draper met with 7-time Grand Slam champion John
McEnroe and former British No. 1
Tim Henman. Draper shared the photos he took
with both former players on social media: "Had to post a couple more
legends of the game.."
Sabine Lisicki welcomes baby girl
Sabine
Lisicki gave birth to her first daughter last Sunday. The 2013 Wimbledon
runner-up shared the first photo of her daughter Bella on her social media
after her birth.
The
34-year-old German has not decided to end her career despite the recent birth
of her daughter. In fact, last March she promised to return to competition
after giving birth, so fans might see the comeback of the former world No. 12
in 2025.

Sinner in ATP Q&A: Funniest, nicest, and more locker room insights
The ATP
Tour's social media shared a video of a round of Questions and Answers with the
new US Open champion, Jannik Sinner. The 2-time Grand Slam champion defeated
home favourite Taylor Fritz in straight sets in the final, further extending
his lead as the ATP World No. 1.
The world
No. 1 selected some of his colleagues during several of the questions: When
asked, “Who’s the nicest guy on Tour,” Sinner chose World No. 8 Hubert Hurkacz.
Later on, the Italian picked
Gael Monfils as the ‘funniest in the locker room.’
Sinner also chose the most underrated player, the player he hates to play
outside the top-20, and the biggest trash talker in the locker room.
Pegula reflects on US Open final loss
Jessica
Pegula shared a heartfelt reflection after losing the US Open final. On
Saturday, September 7,
Aryna Sabalenka won the women’s final with a 7-5, 7-5
victory, securing her third Grand Slam title. The American fought hard but
couldn't match the flawless performance of the Belarusian.
Nevertheless,
it was Pegula’s best Grand Slam performance after six quarterfinal losses
across all four Majors. Pegula rises to World No. 3 and is in a strong position
in the Race for a spot in the WTA Finals.

ATP Players test their knowledge in US Open Champions challenge
ATP stars were put to the test to name as many men's US Open champions as possible. With the US Open coming to a close, ATP’s social media shared a new video challenging players to give the most correct answers, this time focusing on champions at Flushing Meadows.
The video featured players like
Felix Auger-Aliassime, Christopher Eubanks, and
Daniil Medvedev, who stood out for their knowledge of tennis history. On the other hand, players like Gael Monfils,
Jakub Mensik, and

champagne and celebrates US Open Victory with team
Aryna
Sabalenka secured her third Grand Slam title on Saturday, her second of the
season, and she has plenty of reasons to celebrate. The Belarusian defeated
Jessica Pegula in the US Open final with a brilliant performance, winning 7-5,
7-5.
The world
No. 2 has shared several videos of her celebrations with her team and friends.
Sabalenka posted a video on social media of herself popping champagne and using
her Flushing Meadows trophy to drink, a gesture that was replicated by her team
members and her boyfriend.
