What’s the bravest thing you’ve done? ATP Players share their stories

In a new ATP video, some of the Tour’s top players responded to the question, “What’s the most adventurous or bravest thing you’ve ever done?” featuring Alexander Zverev, Daniil Medvedev, Casper Ruud, and more.
"Probably when I swam with sharks, and I couldn’t sleep the night before," commented Matteo Berrettini. "It was actually great. It was a great experience, and I would do it again. It was so nice."
"In Cincinnati, there’s an adventure park, a theme park, right next to it, and I’m someone who is really scared of heights," said Medvedev. "The first ride was one where your legs are in the air and it goes crazy. I went in without knowing what to expect, with my phone and wallet in my tennis shorts’ pockets. The phone was gone, but the wallet stayed—lucky me! But I wasn’t feeling good,” added the former world No. 1.
"Having the chance to drive some McLaren models—that’s definitely what I love doing, and it’s so fun. I enjoy it so much," said Polish player Hubert Hurkacz. "The easiest thing for me to do is to jump from a plane," added Grigor Dimitrov. You can watch all the players’ responses in the video below:

Billie Jean King calls for reform in tennis scoring and player promotion

Billie Jean King proposed innovative changes to tennis in a new video on her social media. "People ask me all the time about the future of the game we all love, and what, if anything, I would change about it if I could," she captioned the post, outlining three revolutionary changes for the future of tennis.
The 12-time Grand Slam champion first suggested altering the scoring system. "I think it’s hard to get new people in the sport, particularly young people. I think we should get rid of the 15-30-40 games. We should have one-two-three-four. If you have to win by two, then at 3-3 do two points in a row or whatever," she said.
She also advocated for players to wear shirts with their names and numbers. "We need to promote our players like every other sport. You look at basketball, you look at football, baseball, and their name, they have a number," she added.
The former world No. 1 also considered that men’s and women’s tennis should have the same number of sets. "You get paid by media content and women always get shorter on the content, because of it," she concluded.

Roger Federer reflects on memorable moments at the Laver Cup

Roger Federer spoke about his best memories from the Laver Cup. The 20-time Grand Slam champion was a key driver behind the tournament’s inception in 2017 and, despite retiring in 2022, remains actively involved in promoting the event.
Upon arriving in Berlin for the 7th Laver Cup, Federer has been a focal point of attention. He was seen training with Carlos Alcaraz the day before and has spent time with the captains ahead of the tournament, which begins on September 20. Federer reflected on his favorite moments from the Laver Cup: “Being in the locker room with Novak (Djokovic), Rafa (Nadal), and (Andy) Murray. And my retirement two years ago has been incredible. Going out there and feeling the support of the best players in the world is a very, very special feeling.”
“I think Team Europe is very strong this year. In the singles matches, we are heavy favorites, and in the doubles, I feel like most will go Team World’s way,” Federer added. “This week is a little nostalgic, bittersweet because Bjorn (Borg) and John (McEnroe) are not captains this year. I want them to be really happy this week,” he concluded.
