The Madrid Open has come under fire after continuing to use 'skimpy' models wearing crop tops and skirts for centre court matches compared to the normal ball people on outside courts.
Copping backlash on social media, viewers noticed the different outfits and called it out with this being a move that has been in place since 2004 when models were employed to take part.
They hired male models back in 2006 and 2007 to take part in the women's matches due to backlash meaning that Iga Swiatek walked out in front of male models when being on the Manolo Santana court.
It is a controversy that has roared on since 2004 and with the way the world is now, it has been brought up on social media during this tournament.
One tennis fan also asked Rennae Stubbs about it, who called it ridiculous: "Have we talked about the midriff-baring ball girls outfits in the Madrid Open? What's that about?" the person put to Stubbs.
