Goran Ivanisevic has announced that he is taking his ex-wife Tatjana Dragovic to court with the claim that she unlawfully took money earned before and during their marriage.
On Monday, a Croatian publication reported that Ivanisevic filed a series of lawsuits against his ex-wife and his daughter Amber.
The report also claims that his ex-wife believes the court is favouring the ex-Wimbledon champion and coach of Novak Djokovic and that is deliberately ignoring documents claiming domestic violence.
Ivanisevic responded sarcastically to those claims saying that he 'became a family abuser and the court's favourite' once he 'dared to seek' what he feels belongs to him.
It was a long running relationship since Ivanisevic saw an 18-year-old Dragovic on the front of a magazine cover. They then became parents and got married 11 years later in 2009 before they got divorced in 2013 with this all now coming out messily 10 years on.
"To start...the moment I dared to seek the money I earned before and during the marriage, which T.D. appropriated against all laws and contracts, I became a family abuser and the court's favorite. Now I'm just waiting for a lawsuit that should state that the T.D in question won Wimbledon and two Olympic medals, and maybe another Grand Slam, but the court has yet to confirm that.
"For all inquiries and the rest, contact my lawyers, Mr. Mandic and Mr. Stanic, who have been dealing with this case for a long time. respect, Goran," Ivanisevic wrote on his Instagram.
